TIDAK MENGELAK ( Did Not Flinch )

YOHANES 18:1-11

“Jawab Yesus: “Telah Kukatakan kepadamu, Akulah Dia. Jika Aku yang kamu cari, biarkanlah mereka ini pergi” (ayat 8). Setelah semua wejangan terakhir tersebut, Yesus dan murid-murid-Nya pergi ke lembah Kidron dan masuk kesebuah taman yang bernama Getsemani. Tempat itu merupakan tempat yang biasa mereka datangi dan Yudaspun tahu tempat itu sehingga iapun membawa sepasukan prajurit yang bersamanya ketempat itu. Yesus sadar, saatnya telah tiba, dan Iapun tidak menunggu sampai Yudas menunjuk diri-Nya, tapi Ia sendiri yang melangkah kedepan dan menyapa pasukan yang datang tersebut. Yesus tidak mengelak, Ia telah siap untuk saat itu dan untuk itulah Ia menunjukkan diri-Nya. Wibawa baik dalam sikap maupun perkataan Yesus membuat mereka yang hendak menangkap-Nya mundur kebelakang dan jatuh ketika Yesus memperkenalkan diri-Nya. Dalam keadaan seperti itu Ia masih menunjukkan tanggungjawabnya dengan tidak membiarkan murid-murid-Nya untuk ditangkap. Dan murid-muridpun rupanya juga sudah menyadari akan keadaan seperti saat itu, hal itu dibuktikan dengan Petrus yang siap sedia membawa pedang, tapi ia bertindak dengan putus asa. Yesus tidak mengelak, Ia harus minum cawan penderitaan yang diberikan Bapa kepada-Nya. Melakukan kehendak Bapa bukan hanya sebuah pernyataan yang keluar dari bibir, tapi harus dilakukan dalam perbuatan. Untuk itu semua orang yang rindu untuk melakukan kehendak Bapa juga harus siap bayar harga, dan itu juga seringkali melalui jalan penderitaan karena kebenaran. Jika kita hanya mau enaknya saja dalam melakukan kehendak Bapa, kita tidak akan pernah benar-benar melakukan kehendak-Nya. Kehendak-Nya harus dikerjakan dalam segala keadaan. Untuk itu jangan mengelak bila datang ujian, jangan takut dengan apa yang harus kita derita, tapi tetaplah setia, dan Dia akan mengaruniakan mahkota kehidupan (Wahyu 2:10). BERSAMA ALLAH KITA AKAN CAKAP MENANGGUNG SEGALA SESUATU.

JOHN 18:1-11

“Jesus replied:” Have I told you, I am he. If I am what you are looking for, they let it go “(verse 8). After all these last discourse, Jesus and the disciples of his to go to the Kidron valley and into a garden called Gethsemane. It was a place they usually go and Judas knew the place was that he brought with him a squad of soldiers that place. Jesus knew the time had arrived, and the insanity plea does not wait until Judas appoint himself, but he himself who stepped forward and greeted troops who came to them. Jesus did not flinch, he was ready for that moment and for that he might show himself. Authority both in attitude and words of Jesus to those who wanted to arrest him backward and fell backward when Jesus introduced himself. In such circumstances he still shows his responsibilities by not allowing students to his arrest. And the disciples of his apparently also been aware of the circumstances at the time, it was evidenced by Peter’s sword ready, but he was acting in desperation. Jesus did not flinch, he must drink the cup of suffering given to his Father. Does the will of the Father is not only a statement that came out of the lips, but it must be done in deed. For all those who desire to do the Father’s will also be ready to do it with full responsibility, and it also often by way of suffering for the truth. If we only want to live comfortably alone in doing the will of the Father, we will never actually do His will. His will be done in all circumstances. Therefore do not be evasive when comes the test, do not be afraid of what we have to suffer, but remains faithful, and He will give you the crown of life (Revelation 2:10). WITH GOD WE WILL ASSUME EVERYTHING QUALIFIED.
