Selesaikan Tugas ( Finishing The Task )

KISAH RASUL 14:21-28

“Dari situ berlayarlah mereka ke Antiokhia; di tempat itulah mereka dahulu diserahkan kepada kasih karunia Allah untuk memulai pekerjaan, yang telah mereka selesaikan” (ayat 26). Sekalipun mereka pernah mendapat sesuatu yang tidak menyenangkan bahkan ancaman keselamatan jiwa di Ikonioun dan di Listra, tapi hal itu bukan menjadi alasan Paulus dan rekan-rekannya untuk tidak kembali ketem-pat itu dan menguatkan hati murid-murid yang ada disana. Mereka kembali kesana bahkan menetap-kan penatua penatua bagi jemaat, barulah mereka kembali ke Antiokhia, dimana dari sanalah mereka memulaikan pekerjaan yang dipercayakan oleh Tuhan. Mereka kembali karena mereka telah menyele-saikan tugas khusus mereka yang pertama. Dalam perjalanan mereka kembali, mereka tetap memberi-takan Firman Tuhan disetiap tempat yang mereka singgahi. Akhirnya merekapun tiba dengan mem-bawa banyak kesaksian bagaimana Allah bekerja dengan perantaraan mereka. Selesainya tugas mereka bukan berarti itu adalah akhir dari pelayanan, tapi hal itu menjadi kesempatan untuk mereka menjadi berkat bagi jemaat darimana mereka berasal sambil menantikan tugas yang baru sesuai deng-an kehendak Tuhan. Apa yang telah Paulus dan rekan-rekannya kerjakan, hendaknya menjadi pen-dorong semangat bagi kita untuk juga menunaikan tugas pelayanan yang dipercayakan apapun tanta-ngannya. Jangan berhenti oleh karena tantangan, sebaliknya justru melalui tantangan kita akan melihat kuasa Allah bekerja dan dinyata kan. Dan jangan lupa untuk menyaksikan kuasa dan pertolongan Tu-han yang telah kita alami dalam melakukan kehendak-Nya. Tunaikanlah tugas yang telah dipercayakan kepada kita dan saksikanlah kasih dan kuasa-Nya yang mengiringi pelaksanaan tugas tersebut (2 Timotius 4:5).

MAKANAN-KU ADALAH MENYELESAIKAN KEHENDAK  DIA YANG MENGUTUS  AKU.

Acts 14:21-28

“From there they sailed to Antioch is; in places that they had been handed over to the grace of God to start a job, they have done” (verse 26). Even if they’ve got something unpleasant and even threatening the safety of persons in Ikonioun and at Lystra, but it’s not the reason Paul and his colleagues for not re-place and encouraging the students who were there. They even set back there for the elders of the church elders, then they returned to Antioch, from where they began the work entrusted by the Lord. They return because they have completed their specific tasks first. In their way back, they still preach the Word of God in every place they visit. Finally they arrived with a lot of testimonies of how God works through them. Finished his assignment does not mean it is the end of the service, but it becomes an opportunity for them to be a blessing to the community from which they originate while waiting for new tasks in accordance with the will of God. What had Paul and his colleagues are doing, should be encouragement for us to also perform the task entrusted to any service of his challenge. Do not stop by for a challenge, instead through the challenges we’ll see the power of God’s work and expressed. do not forget to watch the power and the help of God we have experienced in doing His will. Exert a task that has been entrusted to us and see the love and His power that accompanies the implementation of these tasks (2 Timothy 4:5).
